Where will my horse stay?
Our facility is in Riverside, CA Your horse will be stalled in either a covered stall or a pasture, depending on your preference & how well your horse gets along with other horses.
Can you pick up my horse to take it into training?
Yes, I can pick up your horse from your home or where the horse is boarded and bring him/her to Grand Terrace. I do charge a gas fee.
What will my horse eat?
Alfalfa hay unless the horse needs to be fed another kind of hay, which will be fed if provided.
Is it possible for my horse to be fed its special feed and/or supplements?
Yes, any feed that you provide will be fed to your horse on the schedule that you would like it to be fed.
Will my horse be turned out?
Yes, your horse will be turned out 4-5 times a week for some play time.
How often will my horse be worked?
Your horse will be worked with 5-6 times a week.
How long will it take for you to train my horse?
It depends on the horse, and what exactly what you want it to be doing. I don't like to rush a horse, that causes confusion and doesn't help a horse, but just ends up causing issues in the end. I would much rather take extra time to work with a horse on a certain idea that the horse is struggling with it then having the horse be rushed and not completely understand.
Can I come see my horse?
You are welcome to come visit your horse anytime. I encourage you to come watch your horse's progress. I also like to get you involved in the horse's training, that way you know how I am working with them & what cues I give them, that way you can refer back when your horse comes home!
Do you do mobile training?
I do not do mobile training at this time, but I can refer you to mobile trainers if you are needing one.
